"Nectar" is the second studio album by Japanese-Australian artist Joji, released in CD format by Warner Bros. Records. This album showcases Joji's signature blend of alternative R&B, lo-fi pop, and electronic influences, featuring introspective lyrics and lush production across 18 tracks. Standout songs like "Run," "Sanctuary," and "Ew" highlight his emotive vocal style and innovative soundscapes. The project explores themes of love, longing, and existential reflection with a cinematic touch that has resonated deeply with fans worldwide. Joji (George Kusunoki Miller) first gained fame as an internet personality before transitioning to music, where he quickly established himself as a leading figure in contemporary R&B and alternative pop. His debut album "BALLADS 1" reached number one on Billboard?s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart?making him the first Asian-born artist to achieve this feat?and singles such as ?Slow Dancing in the Dark? have garnered hundreds of millions of streams globally. Warner Bros. Records is a renowned American record label known for its diverse roster of influential artists spanning multiple genres since its founding in 1958. With decades-long experience nurturing musical talent and producing iconic albums, Warner Bros. continues to be at the forefront of global music innovation.

Azmi H. - 28/Nov/2021 5 of 5 Stars!
Nectar shows a lot more depth and production polish that was lacking in Joji's debut album. It's got hit after hit and offers plenty of depth although I feel at times the tracklist is a bit too long and wish it was cut down a couple of songs.
